Landon Currier - Moto

If you want to get a sense of Landon Currier’s motocross bravado, just take a look at his x-rays. The Brush Prairie, WA native has as much hardware in his body as the team mechanic carries in the toolbox. Landon knows better than anyone that broken bones and making the hole shot are what racing motocross is about. He’d take the hole shot without the broken bones, but it doesn’t always work out that way. For example just last season, he was leading a race when his engine died and another racer ran over him, breaking his arm in the process. It was his first race back after a broken wrist.

“It happens and you know the only thing you can do is get through it and just be stronger the next time,” he says. “The surgeries weren’t bad but the time off my bike killed me.” Landon is all about speed, and racing is definitely his focus for the next few years. He wants to race the National Circuit and move on to Supercross—at least as soon as all those broken bones are healed up. One thing that hasn’t been broken is his spirit. “All the blood, sweat, and tears for the sport is worth it,” he says.
