Bryan Shuey, an Incline Village, NV native has had riding in his bones from the time that he could walk. “He was born totally ripped,” said his mom, Cyndee. “He had his first skateboard sponsor when he was three and he got the sponsor himself.”
Flash forward many years and now he’s throwing down big tricks at halfpipe and slopestyle comps. Last winter Bryan started the season taking 2nd place in the Burton European Open, Laax, Switzerland, against some of the biggest pro rider names in the world.
Bryan’s parents are cool, laid-back Californians who support him whether it’s on the hill or sparring in the dojo with his dad. Recently all of his hard work earned him some airtime on FUEL TV’s “New Pollution.” “I’m just gonna keep up riding hard and I think I’ll move up pretty well,” he said.
